The Jars Ceramiste collections are pure poetry and we are overjoyed to present them to you. Each piece is made entirely by hand in the Jars ceramics workshops in Anneyron in the Drôme department in the south of France.
All the colors in the PROVENCE collection can also be wonderfully combined with each other.
The plates are dishwasher-safe and microwave-safe.

Jedes Stück wird in den Keramik-Werkstätten von Jars in Anneyron im südfranzösischen Departement Drôme komplett von Hand gefertigt. Seitdem sie von Pierre Jars im 1857 gegründet wurde, wird das Wissen in der Manufaktur Jars von einer Generation zur nächsten weitergegeben: Durch dieses jahrhundertealte Können hat Jars das Label „Patrimoine Vivant” erhalten. Damit werden Unternehmen ausgezeichnet, die hervorragendes Know-how weiterführen (EPV-Label).
Die Kollektionen von Jars strahlen eine Poesie, Stärke und Sanftheit aus, sie kombinieren schlichte Formen mit einer Palette aus frischen Farben: ein Traum zum Mischen, Dekorieren, Spaß haben.
Das Steinzeug wird ausschließlich aus natürlichen Bestandteilen hergestellt. Steinzeug ist sicherlich die strapazierfähigste und natürlichste Keramik. Im Gegensatz zum Steingut ist gebrannte Steinzeugerde wasserdicht und sogar ohne Glasur nicht porös. Aufgrund dieser Tatsache hält sie Lebensmittel lange warm oder kalt. Die Glasuren sind wahre Schätze, die aus pflanzlicher Asche ohne Zusatz von gesundheitsschädlichen Stoffen (Blei oder Cadmium) hergestellt werden. Eine Glasur aus Asche erstellen und eichen ist eine langwierige und schwierige Arbeit. Diese handwerkliche Arbeit ist der Preis dafür, dass die Asche diese ganz besonderen Farben und Materien und eine einzigartig tiefe Glasur ergibt. Dieses Know-how, wie auch der gesamte Werdegang der Erde in diesen Berufen, bereichert die Zauberkunst des Brennens.
